The dripping glaze on this vase is my favorite combination. The glaze is emerald mist and the rim is dipped in royal blue and forest green. As the glaze heats it drips in unpredictable ways and runs down the length of the piece. Each kiln load is a surprise in the effects that this will create. This large vase stands 8 inches tall, is 5 inches in diameter at the mouth and 7 inches wide at the belly. I throw my vases with heavy bottoms so that they will not tip when large arrangements are placed in them. As such an additional $5.00 charge would be added to the normal shipping rates listed on my main page. Each piece of Engel pottery is hand thrown on my potter's wheel, glazed in lead-free glazes, and fired in my home kiln. I would recommend hand washing this piece only to preserve the richness of the colors.
